Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Legal Fellow (Male Candidate) at Prayas, a field action project of the Centre for Criminology and Justice, School of Social Work. Prayas is a field action project of the Centre for Criminology and Justice, School of Social Work, initiated in 1990. It is a response to the needs of disadvantaged groups being processed by the Criminal Justice System. It aims at socio-legal and also economic rehabilitation of persons who are at risk of being criminalized, exploited for commercial sex, and those in destitute states. The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (www.tiss.edu) came into being altogether in the year 1936. It is a Deemed to be University. It has four campuses at Mumbai (main campus), Hyderabad, Guwahati and Tuljapur (rural campus).It offers various range of programmes altogether.

Qualification & Experience :
- LLB degree
- Candidates must have Sanad to practice in Maharashtra
- Knowledge of computer skills altogether.
- Ability to read, write and also speak in Marathi, English Hindi.
- Familiarity with the use of MS-Office, emails and also the internet.
- Lawyers with 2-3 years of legal practice is also desirable
- Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently altogether.
