Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of two (02) Project linked persons (one for each project) purely on temporary basis to work for the following projects titled (1) “Deep Multi-View Dependency Analysis for Cancer Diagnosis and Prognosis” and (2) “Analysis of Influential features for mapping landslides in different vulnerable zones in India” in the Machine Intelligence Unit of the Institute.

Qualifications
Project 1:
(i) M.E/ M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics/ Information Technology or M.Sc. in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Electronics/ Computer Science
(ii) Good knowledge of Computer Programming (C/ C++/ Java)
(iii) All through first class.
Project 2:
(i) M.E/ M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics/ Optoelectronics/ Information Technology
(ii) Good knowledge of Computer Programming (C/ C++/ Java/Python/Matlab)
Salary : Rs. 31000/- to Rs. 35000/- per month depending on qualification and experience

Age :
Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 April 2024, with usual relaxation for (for all projects) SC/ ST/ OBC/ Women and differently abled candidates.
Age relaxation may also be given to outstanding candidates or candidates with relevant experience.
Selection Procedure :
A walk-in-interview will be conducted altogether on 9th May 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Machine Intelligence Unit (MIU), 3rd Floor of the Platinum Jubilee Academic Building of the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata
