Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Multitasking Staff in the project entitled ” Flood Early Warning and Monitoring System for Himalayan Catchments” at the Department of Civil Engineering. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati altogether commenced in 1995. At present the Institute also has altogether eleven departments, seven inter-disciplinary academic centres and five schools covering all the major engineering , science, healthcare, management and humanities disciplines. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati’s campus is altogether on a sprawling 285 hectares plot of land on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra around 20 kms from the heart of the city Guwahati. IIT Guwahati is also the only academic institution in India that occupied a place among the top 100 world universities.

Essential Qualification:
Higher Secondary, Minimum 2 years experience in field data collection and laboratory experiments
Pay Scale : Rs. 18000 + 16% of Basic Pay as HRA per month
Selection Procedure :
An online interview will be held on 29th May 2024 from 3 PM onwards. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via E-mail
