Applications are invited for recruitment of various project based positions or career in IIT Guwahati Assam.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the project entitled, ” C-H Arylation of aliphatic amines and its synthetic application” at the Department of Chemistry. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. At present the Institute has eleven departments, seven inter-disciplinary academic centres and also five schools covering all the major engineering , science, healthcare, management and humanities disciplines. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati’s campus is on a sprawling 285 hectares plot of land on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra around 20 kms from the heart of the city.

Qualification :

BE/B.Tech or ME/ M.Tech or MSc in Biotechnology/Chemical/Biochemical/Industrial Biotechnology with valid GATE score.

The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions altogether such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOs, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISCR etc.

Selection Procedure :

A walk-in-interview will be held on 22nd April 2024 at 10 AM in Conference Room, Department of Chemistry, IIT Guwahati, Assam

Candidates must sent advance copy of CV along with scan copies of relevant documents altogether

Candidates must send their applications on or before 22.04.2024 (9:30 AM) to the Principal Investigator by email to [email protected]

Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the Walk-in interview.
