English & Foreign Languages University (EFLU) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs altogether of Registrar, Finance Officer and Controller of Examinations on direct recruitment / deputation basis.
Name of post : Registrar
No. of posts : 1
Essential Qualifications:
i) Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale altogether wherever grading system is followed
ii) At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 and above or with 08 years of service in the Academic Level 12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration also
OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and/ or also other institutions of higher education.
OR
15 years of administrative experience, of which 08 years shall also be as Deputy Registrar or an
equivalent post

grading system is followed
ii) At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor altogether in the Academic Level 11 and above or with 08 years of service in the Academic Level 12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration
OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and/ or also other institutions of higher education.
OR
15 years of administrative experience, of which 08 years shall also be as Deputy Registrar or an
equivalent post.
Age Limit :
Preferably below 57 years. Relaxation will also be applicable for SC/ST/OBC/ PwBD as per UGC/ GoI norms.

Application Fees :
The application fee, which is non-refundable, of Rs. 1000/- (rupees one thousand only) shall be paid by the candidates who belong to General, OBC and Third Gender categories.
An application fee of Rs. 300/- (rupees three hundred only) shall be paid by candidates who belong to SC/ST/PwBD/ categories and Women candidates.
