Centre of Plasma Physics- Institute for Plasma Research (CPP IPR) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Project Scientific Officer (Civil) on contractual basis. The post of Project Scientific Officer (Civil) is purely temporary and for a period of two years or completion of the project, whichever is earlier, which may also be extended for another one-year subject to the project duration and the candidate’s satisfactory performance.

Essential Educational Qualification :
BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from any AICTE recognized Institution under any University with minimum 60% marks in qualifying examination.
Experience :
The applicant must have post qualification experience of minimum 03 years preferably in-
- Planning, estimation, execution of Civil construction works, regular building maintenance altogether.
- Should also be capable of execution of Building construction projects.
- Should have knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control of works under scope of contract during execution altogether.
- Must also be familiar with statutory norms and regulations.
- Must be familiar with CPWD/PWD rules and byelaws also.
- Must have altogether previous experience in tender preparation and tender scrutiny works.

Salary :
Monthly emoluments of Rs. 56,000/- + HRA (as per the institute’s rules) will be paid. No other allowances shall be admissible.
Age Limit :
Maximum age limit for general candidates is 40 years as of 31st March, 2024.
Age relaxation for SC/ST/PWD/OBC/Ex-servicemen candidates will be governed as per the rules &
guidelines of the Government of India.
