All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Research Associate III purely on contract basis in the Extramural project ‘Technical Resource Centre (TRC) under the Centre for Evidence for Guidelines’, Funded by the Department of Health Research, New Delhi, in Departments of Ophthalmology and Pharmacology. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) – Guwahati, an autonomous Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare – Government of India, came into being under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) in May 2017. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the institute on May 26, 2017. The Institute has been set up with the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare and attaining self-sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate medical education. The Institute intends to develop model patterns of teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education in all its branches to demonstrate a high standard of medical education to all medical colleges and other allied institutions in India.

Essential Qualification:
1) Postgraduate degree in Public Health/Statistics/Epidemiology/Health Sciences/Environmental Sciences/Life Sciences/Population Sciences/Demography/Health Economics/HTA/M. Pharm (Pharmacy Practice) with 3 years of post PG experience in research/projects with at least one research paper in SCI journal.

Desirable qualification:
Previous experience with Systematic Reviews & Meta-analyses is desirable.
Preference will be given to the candidate with:
1) Publications (Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis) as first or corresponding author in SCIE Q1 journals.
2) High-level expertise for conducting data analysis using R Programming/STATA/Python.
Age Limit: As per ICMR/DHR Rules.
Emoluments: Rs. 67000 + HRA (as applicable altogether) Per Month
