Name of project : Experimental characteristics and thermo-mechanical analysis of underwater friction stir welded AI Alloys for submerged marine applications
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree (M.Tech. / M.E. / M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Technology / Production Engineering / Material Science / Metallurgy / Aerospace Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Ocean and Naval Architecture / Applied Mechanics / Civil Engineering, or any allied area. The candidates having research experience will get preference.
Age: Candidates shall not be more than 35 years of age on the last date of receipt of application. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.
Emolument: Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month.

Name of project : Affordable Artificial Intelligence Driven Bionic Hand
Essential Qualification: B. E./ B. Tech. in ECE/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Mechanical Engineering or MSc in Physics/Electronics
Age: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit is relaxable as per the Government of India rules.
Emolument: Rs.27,000.00 (Rupees twenty seven thousand) only per month (fixed)

For the post of Project Assistant, candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview in the Conference Room, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering, Tezpur University at 10.00 a.m. on 28/01/2026. Interested candidates may appear before the Interview Board with all original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if applicable), any other testimonials, copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Application in prescribed format (Annexure-I) at 10.00 a.m. on 28/01/2026.
