National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Chief Executive Officers, Incubation Manager and Incubation Associate in 2026.
Name of post : Chief Executive Officer
No. of posts : 1
Salary: Rs. 80,000/- (Consolidated) (with 10% cumulative annual increment subject to performance review)
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy from a recognized University/ Institute. Applicants having an additional degree of MBA or equivalent postgraduate management degree would be given due preference.
or
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science with an MBA or postgraduate management degree.
Experience : The applicant must have a minimum of 10 years of overall work experience
Upper Age Limit: Less than 50 years as on the closing date of application, including extension if any.

Salary: Rs. 40,000/- (Consolidated) (with 10% cumulative annual increment subject to performance review)
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Business/Management from a recognized University/ Institute. Applicants having an additional degree of MBA or equivalent would be given due preference.
Experience : The applicant must have a minimum of 02 years of experience in the start-up sector
Upper Age Limit: Below45 years as on the closing date of application, including extension if any

Salary: Rs. 30,000/- (Consolidated) (with 10% cumulative annual increment subject to performance review)
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering/Technology/Science/
Business/Management from a recognized University/ Institute.
Upper Age Limit: Below 40 Years as on the closing date of application, including extension if any
