Investigators for the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) Major Research Project on “Literary Interface through Translation: Early Modern Literary Texts from Sanskrit, Bengali, Marathi and Telugu into Kannada (1800–1930)” in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences in 2026.
Name of post : Research Assistant
No. of posts : 1
Qualification : Postgraduate in Social Sciences/Humanities Disciplines (55% minimum marks) with NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.
Salary : Rs. 37,000/- per month
Age Limit : Preferably below 35 Years. SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/EWS candidates will get relaxation as per the Government of India Rules.
Job Roles : Will carry out the project-related literature review, archival data collection from the field, and report writing

Qualification : Postgraduate in Social Science Disciplines/Humanities with a minimum 55% marks.
Salary : Rs. 20,000/- per month
Age Limit : Preferably below 35 Years. SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/EWS candidates will get relaxation as per the Government of India Rules.
Job Roles : Prospective field investigator has to visit the field for the collection of data, and will be engaged in textual analysis and report writing, if needed.
