National Institute of Design (NID) Jorhat Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of IT Technician Support Staff on purely contractual basis in 2026.

Qualification & Experience :
HSLC with five years of relevant experience or Degree/Diploma with three years of relevant experience.
Relevant Experience in installation, troubleshooting, repair of computer systems/hardware & software; maintenance of LAN/Wi-Fi networks, VoIP, servers, CCTV infrastructure and other IT related duties, inventory management systems, etc
Desirable :
Computer Hardware & Software certification/Computer Networking/ CCTV skill/Audio Visual devices skill.
Upper age limit : 35 years (May be relaxed for deserving candidates).
Remuneration : Rs. 27,500/- per month (Consolidated)
Job Roles :
To ensure the uninterrupted provision of IT support services to employees and students, including installation, troubleshooting and repair of computer systems & software; maintenance of LAN/Wi-Fi networks, VoIP, servers, inventory management systems, CCTV infrastructure and other IT related duties as assigned by the Institute.
