The Office of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Nagaon Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Para Legal Volunteers in 2026.
Name of post : Para Legal Volunteer
Eligibility Criteria :
The applicant should pass minimum matriculation with a capacity for overall comprehension and should have mindset to assist the needy in society coupled with compassion, empathy and concern for upliftment of marginalized and weaker sections of society.
Preferably the PLVs selection from those who do not look up to the income they derive from their services as PLVs, but should have a mindset to assist the needy in society. Preference to candidates who have proficiency in driving (four wheelers), and proficiency in computers (MS Office).
Age Limit : The minimum age for selection of PLVs should not be less than 21 years as on date of notice.
Salary : The work of PLVs does not carry any salary, remuneration or wage except honorarium fixed from time to time, as per rules.

The applicants must submit their application along with self-attested documents in a sealed envelope and deposit the same in the “DROP BOX” provided for the purpose in the premises of the District & Sessions Judges’ Court, 4th Floor, Judicial Court Building at Nagaon.
