The candidates must possess the minimum educational qualification of Class VIII passed; and those who pass HSSLC (12th) or above is not eligible to apply for the said post.

Age Limit :
A candidate shall not be below 18 years of age and above 40 years in case of general candidates as on 01.01.2026. The upper age limit in case of candidates belonging to SC & ST category shall be 45 years as on 01.01.2026. The upper age limit of candidates belonging to ???/???C category shall be 43 years as on 01.01.2026.

Candidates may send duly filled up applications in standard form as published in Assam Gazette Part IX along with self-attested photocopies of all the relevant testimonials i.e., educational qualification certificate, age proof document, Employment Exchange Registration Certificate, experience certificate, if any, valid driving licence (for the post of ‘driver’) etc. and 02 copies of recent passport size photographs to the District & Sessions Judge cum Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Kamrup (M), Assam
Applications will be received in the Office of the District Legal Services Authority, Kamrup (Metro) either by registered post, speed post, by hand or by depositing the application in the designated Drop Box kept at the office premises on all working days from 24.07.2026 till 04.08.2026.
