Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of one Research Assistant in ICSSR Funded Project entitled “Mapping the Role of Vivekananda Kendra in Community-Centred Development and Indigenous Knowledge in Tribal areas of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland” in 2026. The project has full funding from the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR)

Qualification :
Post Graduate in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. Preference will be given to candidates with NET/M.Phil. /Ph.D.
Desirable Qualification :
1. Familiarity with quantitative and/or qualitative research methods; ability to assist in literature review, instrument development, data collection, data analysis, and report writing.
2. Proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Word and Excel) and Data analysis tools/ SPSS etc.
3. Prior experience in research projects.
Salary : Rs. 37,000.00/- (Rupees Thirty-Seven Thousand; consolidated) per month.
