Central Institute of Technology (CIT) Kokrajhar Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a NEC sponsored project entitled “Strength Enhancement of Sub-grade Soils in the Northeastern Region Using Sustainable Materials under Varying Temperature Conditions” in 2026.

Age limit: 30 years for General and EWS candidate (relaxation for SC/ST as per GoI rules)
Essential Qualification:
BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MS/M.Sc (Civil Engineering/ Geotechnical Engineering /Environmental Engineering) from a recognized Institute/University with a first division or equivalent. Preference may be given to candidates having valid GATE qualification.
Desirable:
Candidates having good knowledge and experience in project design, field investigation, laboratory testing, and implementation of research projects willbe preferred.
Emoluments: Consolidated amount of Rs. 37,000/- per month
