Assam Skill University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the positions or career of Guest Faculty in the Department of Food Technology on a purely temporary basis in 2026.

Essential Qualification :
1. M.E/M.Tech/M.S./Integrated M.Tech./M.Sc./Integrated M.Sc./ M.Voc in Food Technology/Food Processing/Food Engineering/Dairy Technology/Chemical Engineering/Post-harvest Engineering/ Food Science & Nutrition or Master’s Degree in relevant disciplines, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale) from an Indian or recognized foreign university on full-time regular mode. A relaxation of 5% marks (from 55% to 50%) is provided at the Bachelor’s and/or Master’s level for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and Differently-abled candidates.
2. PhD in any one of the above-mentioned relevant disciplines or qualified NET in the relevant
subject. With regard to the minimum requirement of educational qualification, relevant regulation
of UGC/AICTE/NCTE will be applicable.
Salary :
Rs. 1500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 40,000/- per month. Guest Faculty, who are already employed in government institution shall be paid Rs. 800/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 40,000/- per month. No other allowances shall be admissible.
