Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates in 2026 for recruitment to the posts or career of two (02) Research Assistants under the ICSSR sponsored Major Research Project entitled “Role of Fintech in Enhancing Financial Inclusion of Women Street Vendors in Northeast India”, under the Project Coordinator Dr. Reshma Kumari Tiwari, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce.

Job Roles :
- Assist in literature review, conceptual framework, tool development.
- Collect primary data across eight North-eastern states through interviews and field observations.
- Make data entry, processing, analysis, interpretation.
- Assist in drafting of the report.
Qualification: Post graduate in any Social Science Discipline (55% minimum) with NET/ M.Phil/ Ph.D.
Desired Skillsets: Knowledge of Microsoft office and softwares like SPSSs etc.
Remuneration: Rs. 37,000 (Rupees thirty-seven Thousand only) only per month.
Age limit: Below 40 years of age on the last date of application. The upper age limit is relaxable as per Government of India rules.
