Assam Science Technology & Environment Council (ASTEC) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Programme Officer in 2026.

Essential Qualification :
First Class Master’s Degree in Botany, Zoology, Environmental Sciences, Environmental
Engineering or other relevant disciplines under Life Sciences from a recognized University.
Preferable: Diploma in Computer Application (DCA)/ Diploma in Software Application (DSA)
Experience :
Candidates must possess at least 60 (sixty) months of relevant professional experience in the field of Environmental Education and Awareness, which includes:
1. Organisation of workshops, capacity building programmes, nature camps, and environmental awareness programmes for students, teachers, and communities, with sound knowledge of Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA).
2. Content development and design of IEC materials and other educational resources.
Selection Procedure :
Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 20th February 2026. Venue is in 4th floor, Conference Hall, Bigyan Bhawan, GS Road, Guwahati 781005. Time of Interview is from 10: 30 AM onwards. Time of Registration is 09:30 A.M.
