National Law University and Judicial Academy (NLUJA), Assam is inviting applications from advocates practicing in Assam and Entry-Level Lawyers in Assam for recruitment or career under Lawyer Fellowship Programme (LFP) and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Programme in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria :
Freshers (Law Graduate) / Freshers enrolled as an advocate with a State Bar Council. (0 – 2 years of experience)
Able to commit to the full Six-months tenure, including in-person intensive blocks at NLUJA, Assam.
Preference will be given to young and early-career lawyers who have recently completed their legal education.

Eligibility Criteria :
1. Enrolled as an advocate with a State Bar Council.
2. 2 to 5 years of continuous practice (minimum 2, maximum 5) as on the last date for applications.
3. Currently practising in Assam.
4. Proven engagement in trial / lower-court litigation, legal aid, or rights-based / community work.
5. Potential to independently manage legal-aid cases and to contribute to systemic legal reform.
6. Capacity and willingness to mentor junior lawyers.
7. Able to commit to the full one-year tenure, including in-person intensive blocks at NLUJA, Assam, and placement in a designated district.
8. Preference will be given to applicants practising in trial and lower courts and those with a demonstrated commitment to public-interest law and community engagement
