North East Network Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Communication Coordinator in 2025.

Essential Qualification/s: Post Graduate degree in Mass Communication/ Development Communication from a recognized University/Institute.
Work experience: At least 1 to 2 years of experience, preferably in the development/non-profit sector.
Job Roles :
The CC will be responsible to execute the following tasks:
1. Represent the organisation and participate in NEN programmes such as campaigns, workshops, trainings, meetings, fairs, exhibitions, festivals, etc.
2. Develop an annual communications strategy with an accompanying action plan;
3. Manage NEN’s website and social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) through daily monitoring, posting and content development;
4. Develop and promote podcasts, vlogs and blogs on NEN‘s feminist position on different women’s issues;
5. Lead and initiate production of participatory videos;
6. Develop promotional tools for Saneki Weaves (livelihood initiative);
Develop toolkit for organisational fundraising activity;
7. Develop and archive communication material, including digital, such as publications, articles, campaign concept notes, photographs, audio-visual materials, web resources, etc.;
8. Execute production and dissemination of training manuals/ campaign materials/ brochures/ pamphlets/flyers/installations, reports and other publications in Assamese , English, Khasi and local languages;
9. Draft Annual Report and 3 newsletters including editing, copy editing, review, design, printing and and dissemination of the same;
10. Develop visibility for the organisation and its core programmes with women weavers/ farmers/ vendors/ survivor/home-based workers and youth among others through stories of changes;
11. Maintain public relations and network with media outlets (print, TV, radio, web portals,e-news, etc.) to increase coverage of NEN’s different thematic areas.
12. Identify risks and challenges in view of legal regulations and take necessary remedial measures;
13. Ensure data collection, maintain accurate database and contribute to MIS systems;
Salary : The salary will be within the range of Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 30,000/-.
