Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) Arunachal Pradesh is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Teaching Assistants in various subjects in 2026.
Name of post : Teaching Assistant in Plant Pathology
No. of posts : 1
Qualification & Experience :
1. M.Sc (Agriculture) in Plant Pathology with minimum of 55% marks from an accredited
India/Foreign University.
2. Candidates must have cleared the ICAR-NET/equivalent NET.
3. Candidates with PhD/NET and teaching experience shall be given preference.
4. Candidates who have been awarded PhD. shall be exempted from the requirement of ICAR
NET.
Name of post : Teaching Assistant in History
No. of posts : 1
Qualification & Experience :
1. MA in History with minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade system is followed)from
an accredited Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
2. B.Ed degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
3. The candidate must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
4. Candidates who have PhD shall get exemption from the requirement of NET/ SLET/SET
Name of post : Teaching Assistant in Hindi
No. of posts : 1
Qualification & Experience :
1. MA in Hindi with minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade system is followed)from
an accredited Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
2. B.Ed degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
3. The candidate must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
4. Candidates who have PhD shall get exemption from the requirement of NET/ SLET/SET
Name of post : Teaching Assistant in Library & Information Science
No. of posts : 2
Qualification & Experience :
1. M.Lib & Inf. Sc. with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a grading system, wherever applicable) from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
2. The candidate must clear the National Eligibility Test (NET) of the UGC or the CSIR or a similar test of the UGC like SLET/SET. Candidates who have got PhD shall get exemption from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.
Salary : Rs. 1,000/- per class to maximum of Rs. 40, 000/- per month
Selection Procedure :
