International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of technical and non-technical professionals in 2026.
Name of post : Scientist B (R&D)
No. of posts : 4
Total emoluments: Rs. 1,18,110/- per month approximately
Age limit : Not exceeding 30 years
Essential Qualification :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in any one of the following, from a recognized University or Institute:
(a) Materials Engineering/Materials Science & Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering/Materials & Metallurgical Engineering
(b) Mechanical Engineering
Name of post : Officer B (Finance & Accounts)
No. of posts : 1
Total emoluments: Rs. 1,18,110/- per month approximately
Age limit : Not exceeding 56 years
Essential Qualification :
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute with good academic record
Experience :
Officers working in Central/State Governments/Universities/ Recognized Research Institutions/ Semi-Government, Statutory or Autonomous Organizations;
(i) Holding analogous posts; or
(ii) with 5 years’ regular service in the posts in level 8/level 7 of the pay matrix OR 8 years’ regular service in the post in level 6 of the pay matrix or equivalent and
(iii) Possessing the educational qualification and experience as above.
Name of post : Technical Assistant ‘A’
No. of posts : 7
Total emoluments: Rs. 73,020/- per month approximately
Age limit : Not exceeding 30 years
Essential Qualification :
(i) B.Sc. in Physical Sciences (with Chemistry as one of the subjects) or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute; OR
(ii) Three (3) years’ full time Diploma in Metallurgy/Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent from recognized Board of Technical Education of Central or State Government.
Name of post : Assistant ‘A’
No. of posts : 6
Total emoluments: Rs. 61,240/- per month approximately
Age limit : Not exceeding 28 years
Essential Qualification :
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with good academic record, or equivalent
Experience :
Three (3) years’ experience in Director’s Office/Secretariat/ Administration & Establishment/ Human Resource Development/Finance & Accounts / Purchase & Inventory/Liaison works in Government Departments/Academic/Scientific Institutions/Autonomous Bodies/Research laboratories and shall have good knowledge in MS Office, e-Office and ERP applications.
Name of post : Technician ‘A’
No. of posts : 9
Total emoluments: Rs. 54,210/- per month approximately
Age limit : Not exceeding 28 years
Essential Qualification :
(i) 10th/SSC pass; plus
(ii) 2 years full-time ITI in Fitter/Turner/Electrician trade from a recognized Board of Technical Education of Central or State Government; and
Experience :
Three (3) years’ technical experience in Industry/R&D laboratories.
Name of post : Driver ‘A’
No. of posts : 2
Total emoluments: Rs. 39,970/- per month approximately
Age limit : Not exceeding 27 years
Essential Qualification :
(i) Pass in 10th/SSC or equivalent from a recognized Board;
(ii) Possession of a valid driving license to drive light and heavy vehicles;
(iii) Knowledge of motor mechanism (i.e. the candidate should be able to identify and rectify minor defects in vehicles);
(iv) Experience of driving light vehicles for at least three (3) years and heavy vehicles for at least six (6) years; and
(v) Knowledge to maintain vehicle logbooks, journey records, fuel consumption details and other related documents
