A total of 21 villages of Daboka Revenue Circle in Assam’s Hojai district are submerged under the water of Jamuna, Kopili Rivers and the Nikhari stream.
The devastating flood has affected thousands of people of area.

As per the information from administration, 261 flood affected families under Daboka Revenue Circle have taken shelter at relief camps.
On Tuesday, Daboka’s Fathima welfare foundation extended help to this marooned families. The volunteers visited the interior villages through boats and distributed packets of rice, sugar, lentils, salt, etc.
On the other hand, Markazul Ma’arif, a unit of Ajmal CSR provided food items to 2500 flood affected families of Jamnamukh area under Hojai district.
