Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodbidri in Karnataka has offered 100 seats in various courses for the students of Nagaland for the academic season 2019-20 at concessional rate.
The institute agreed to offer the seats at the initiative of Nagaland governor P.B. Acharya and Indian National Fellowship Centre, an NGO from Mumbai, a Raj Bhavan release said.
Fifteen seats are being offered in General Nursing while five seats each in Naturopathy (BNYA), Mechanical Engineering, MBA, BSW, MSW, BA (HPS), BA (HPE), MA in English, MA in Economics, MCom HRD, MSc in Biotechnology, BVA (Visual Art), MSc in Zoology, MSc Mathematic, Information Science in Engineering, Electronics & Communication in Engineering and Civil Engineering.
A committee has been set up to select the students based on merit.
Interested students may submit their application stating the seat he/she wants to apply for along with a copy of their mark sheet, indigenous inhabitant of Nagaland certificate and contact numbers addressed to OSD to Governor, Raj Bhavan Kohima, by June 10.
