The Shillong Lajong junior football team on Tuesday defeated Delhi Dynamos 4-0 in their first game of the Hero Indian Junior League final round Group-C match.
The match was held at Kalyani Stadium in West Bengal.
Lajong overpowered Dynamos through Glennys Godfrey Lynrah who scored a brace for his team in the 30th and 43rd minute, followed by Wadajied Kynsai Ryngkhlem in the 61st minute, and Batskhemlang Jyrwa in the 81st minute.
Informing about the victory of its junior team, the Shillong Lajong FC on its official Twitter handle stated: “Lajong FC beat Delhi Dynamos by 4-0 today in the Hero Junior Junior League Final Round Group C match played in Kalyani Stadium, West Bengal.”
