A spokesperson of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has on Sunday clarified that the results of the Class X board examinations will not be declared on Sunday.
The official confirmation was made in the board’s official website cbse.nic.in
As speculations were rife that the results of the CBSE Class X board examinations will be announced within the first week of this month, reports were doing the rounds that it would announced on Sunday.
Though no specific date has been notified in the official website of the board, there is every possibility that the CBSE Class X board examination results will be declared on May 10 next.
The CBSE Class X board examination results 2019 will be released by the board on its offcicial websites: cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in.
According to board sources, to see their results, candidates for the Class X board examination for the CBSE board can also visit websites such as examresults.in, indiaresults.com and results.gov.in.
The results would also be available at DigiResults app which is available for Android.
The CBSE had declared its Class XII results on May 2 last in a surprise move.
The Class X CBSE board examinations were held from February 2 to March 29 last where 27 lakh candidates took the examination.
Last year, the overall pass percentage was 86.70 per cent for the Class X CBSE board examination.
One can check the result by visiting the official websites cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.nic.in.
After going to the homepage of the site, one needs to click on ‘Class X results 2019’ and then fill in the registration number or roll number and other admit card details in the provided fields and click ‘submit’.
Once the result is displayed on the screen, one can download it and take a printout for future reference and collect the the marksheets.
