Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Sunday reviewed the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Udaipur in Gomati district of the State.

Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, Modi will address an election rally at Udaipur and campaign for party candidates in two parliamentary constituencies.

In the Tripura East (ST) parliamentary constituency, the BJP has fielded Rebati Tripura while in Tripura West parliamentary constituency, the party has fielded Pratima Bhoumik.

After reviewing the preparations, Tripura chief minister Deb on his Twitter handle on Sunday stated: “The 37 lakh people of Tripura are eagerly waiting to listen to our beloved PM Adarniya Shri Narendra Modi ji.

Reviewed the preparations for the mega Jan Sabha of Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji to be held in #Udaipur on 7th April 2019.”

Earlier, it was reported that Prime Minister Modi will lend momentum to the electioneering for the two Lok Sabha seats in the State by addressing an election rally at KBI ground in Udaipur sub-division.

Modi is likely to be accompanied by BJP’s national general secretary and the in-charge of northeastern States Ram Madhav.

It has also been reported that after Prime Minister Modoi’s rally, BJP’s national president Amit Shah would also campaign for the party candidates in Tripura.

According to information, party workers have geared up preparations in a war footing for Modi’s election rally at Udaipur to ensure the rally a grand success.

In the Northeast, Modi has already visited Assam and Arunachal Pradesh and campaigned for party’s Lok Sabha candidates in the two States.
