The BJP parliamentary Board on Sunday declared the list of 54 candidates for the 60-Aruncahal Pradesh Legislative assembly polls which includes the names of chief minister Pema Khandu, deputy chief minister Chowna Mein and wife of late former Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Kalikho Pul, Dasanglu Pul.
The state is going to assembly polls simultaneously with Lok Sabha polls on April 11.
While chief minister Pema Khandu will contest from Mukto constituency, deputy chief minister Chowna Mein will contest from Choukham constituency.
Late Kalipho Pul’s wife Dasanglu Pul is given BJP ticket from Hayuliang constituency, a constituency represented by her late husband. The party is yet to declare candidates in four constituencies—Doimukh, Nyapin, Tali and at Mariyang-Geku constituencies.
