Union minister for housing and urban affairs Hardeep Singh Puri on Wednesday complimented northeastern states for doing well in urban landscape.

He said that Tripura, Mizoram and Manipur are exceptional. “In fact all the northeastern states are doing well in all urban sector programmes,” said Puri.
The union minister was talking to the reporters on the achievements of five years of his ministry.
The minister has also complimented six northeastern states including Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Sikkim for notifying the Rules under Real Estate (Regulation and development) Act, 2016 (RERA).
