Local people of Tantshal village, Missamari obstructed the construction of a boundary wall of army camp at Missamari. The incident happened under the jurisdiction of Missamari Police Station in Sonitpur district. The locals of the village alleged that the army had forcefully set up walls around the army campus near PWD road which was under the public miyadi patta land.

The people of Tantshal village use the surface road which passes from Rangapara to Missamari Tantshal via foothill connecting road and as per norms, the area around 22.50 meter besides the surface cannot be occupied and people alleged that the army had taken an illegal action to construct the boundary wall adjacent to the road surface.

We will not allow construction on that road and we will knock every door to get justice since they are violating the norms “, the local people said.
