Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be targeting the audience from at least five Lok Sabha constituencies in Assam when he addresses a public rally at Changsari, located 30 kms off Guwahati, on Saturday next.
A senior BJP official informed this on Monday and added that the Prime Minister will be addressing a huge rally of the people who are expected to gather on the venue from Dhubri, Barpeta, Guwahati, Mangaldai and Nagaon.
“We hope that over two lakh people will gather there to listen to the Prime Minister,” the senior party leader while adding that the Prime Minister will kick start the campaign for the Lok Sabha election from the meeting.
Prior to this, the Prime Minister will hold meetings with the Ministers, MLAs and MPs of the state and members of the party’s alliance partners like Bodoland Peoples’ Front (BPF) to chalk out a strategy for the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.
The Prime Minister is expected to inaugurate the construction works for the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) at Changsari, lay the Foundation of a bridge on Brahmaputra River between Guwahati and North Guwahati and is also expected to inaugurate an ethanol making plant of the Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) on Saturday.
The Prime Minister will also visit Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura on Saturday to dedicate to the nation some power projects and will leave for New Delhi the same evening.
