Assam State AIDS Control Society (ASACS) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the govt job of Medical Officers and Senior Medical Officers Antiretroviral Therapy (ART Plus & ART Centre) and in Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) Centres across various locations in 2026.
Name of post : Senior Medical Officer (ART Plus Centre)
No. of posts : 1
Essential Qualification :
MBBS with valid registration from the State Medical Council of Assam/NMC or MBBS with Post Graduate (MD/Diploma) including DNB in any clinical discipline recognized by NMC.
Desirable :
Work Experience in HIV/AIDS Programme in field settings. Those with MD Medicine / Diploma in Medicine
Essential Experience:
- 3 years experience is needed for MBBS candidates.
- Fresher Post Graduates from Clinical Discipline will be considered.
- Good working knowledge of computer, MS office
Age: Not more than 65 years as on 01/04/2026
Remuneration: Rs. 90,000/- per month.

MBBS with valid registration from the State Medical Council of Assam/NMC
Desirable :
Work Experience in HIV/AIDS Programme in field settings. Those with MD Medicine / Diploma in Medicine will be preferred.

- 6 months work experience. Post Graduates from Clinical Discipline will also be considered.
- Good working knowledge of computer. MS office.
Age: Not more than 65 years as on 01/04/2026
Remuneration: Rs. 72,000/- per month

Essential Qualification : MBBS with valid registration from State Medical Council of Assam/ NMC
Desirable : 6 months of Junior Residency in any clinical branch. Work experience in HIV / AIDS programme in field settings
Essential Experience :
- Those with MD Psychiatry / Diploma in Psychiatry Medicine is preferable.
- Good working knowledge of computer, MS Office
Age: Not more than 65 years as on 01/04/2026
Remuneration: Rs. 72,000/- per month

Candidates may appear for walk-in-interviews for the above posts from 10th November 2026 to 19th November 2026. Venue of Walk in Interview: Office of the Principal cum Chief Supdt. of the respective institutions. Reporting Time: 10.30 AM.
