Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Thursday released two books on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya in a function organised at Gopinath Bordoloi Bhawan Auditorium in the Assam State Legislative Assembly Secretariat in Guwahati.
The books, which have been published by Ranangan Prakashan, are ‘Jugadrasta Deendayal’ and ‘Pandit Dindayal Upadhyaya – Jiwan O Karmasadhanaa’.
After releasing the two books on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ideologue and Bharatiya Jana Sangh (BJS) co-founder, State Chief Minister Sonowal expressed that he was ‘glad to unveil’ the two books on Upadhyaya.

Chief Minister Sonowal on his Twitter handle on Thursday stated: “Glad to unveil two books “Jugadrasta Deendayal’ & ‘Pandit Dindayal Upadhyaya – Jiwan O Karmasadhanaa’ written on Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Ji. I hope that the books will help us to know this great personality better and take inspiration from his selfless service to the nation.”
The book release function was also attended by former Deputy Speaker of Assam State Legislative Assembly and BJP’s Silchar MLA Dilip Kumar Paul, BJP’s Hojai MLA Shiladitya Deb and Nagaon’s BJP MLA Rupak Sarma.
