Gauhati University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or govt job of HoD, Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the four-year B.A.-B.Ed. programme at the Department of Education and Research Associate in the Centre for South East Asian Studies in 2026.

Qualification :
1. Post Graduate degree in Science or Mathematics or Social Sciences or Commerce or Languages.
2. M.Ed.
3. Ph.D. in Education
4. Ten years of teaching experience in a teacher education institution for Professor and eight years for Associate Professor.
5. Any other relevant qualification prescribed by the University Grant Commission for these categories of posts.
Desirable: Diploma or Degree in Educational Administration or Leadership.
Salary: Rs. 45,000/- (Per month Fixed)

Qualification :
Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences or Humanities with NET/SLET qualification/ good academic career with research experience and training in Research Methodology.
Salary : Rs. 30,000/- per month
