Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma attended the first Indonesia – India interfaith dialogue in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

He was a part of Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India delegation led by Minister of State for External Affairs MJ Akbar.

The theme of the Indonesia – India interfaith dialogue is “Sharing of best practise, lessons learnt and way forward”.

MoS External Affairs MJ Akbar gave the closing speech at the session.

Conard K Sangma was elected as the Chief Minister, Government of Meghalaya in March 2018. Prior to this he has been the Member of Meghalaya Legislative Assembly and served as the Cabinet Minister of Finance, Power and Tourism, Govt. of Meghalaya.
