Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of one (01) Research Associate in 2026 in the DBT sponsored Research Project entitled “Enhancing Breeding and Reproductive Success in Monopterus cuchia”, under the Principal Investigator Dr. Aditya Kumar, Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.

Essential Qualification:
Ph.D. in Bioinformatics/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or any other relevant subject area.
Desirable: Prior experience/knowledge in computational biology, Linux, Python, R, and genomics.
Emoluments: Rs. 58,000 (Rupees fifty eight thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month
Age limit: Upper age limit is 40 years of age on the last date of receipt of application. Upper age limit is relaxable as per Government of India rules.
