Dibrugarh: Dibrugarh Police have arrested two youths in Kerala in connection with a Rs 50-lakh “Boss Scam” reported in Dibrugarh on August 10.
A three-member team from Dibrugarh Police travelled to Kerala and, with assistance from the Kerala Police, apprehended the two alleged suspects.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Suhail Palli and Azharuddin P, both residents of Malappuram district in Kerala.
The duo were brought to Dibrugarh on transit remand, and police are currently questioning them as part of the ongoing investigation.
According to police, the alleged scam network extends beyond Assam and has links to several states across the country.
Investigators said information gathered during the probe could lead to further arrests. Dibrugarh Police are continuing efforts to trace and apprehend other individuals allegedly associated with the network.
