Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of three (03) Field Investigators and one (01) Research Assistant in the ICSSR sponsored Major Research Project entitled “Indigenous Knowledge and Traditional Healing Practices among the Chuktia Bhunjia and Kuntia Kondh Communities of Odisha” in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria :
Graduate in any Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks. Preference to candidates with four-year graduation program
Remuneration : Rs. 20,000 (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) per month (consolidated)
Name of post : Research Assistant
No. of posts : 1
Eligibility Criteria :
Postgraduate in Sociology / Social Anthropology / Anthropology or any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates qualified in NET / M.Phil. / Ph.D. will be given preference.
Remuneration : Rs. 37,000 (Rupees Thirty-Seven Thousand only) per month (consolidated)
Age limit:
Not more than 40 years of age on the last date of application for both the positions. Upper age limit is relaxable as per Government of India rules.
