Qualification :
Secondary School Examination (SSE) pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics and English conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India. The candidates having equivalent qualification from any other board are not eligible to apply for engagement as GDS.
The applicant should have studied the local language at least up to 10th Standard from a recognized board.
Other Criteria :
i. Knowledge of computers.
ii. Knowledge of cycling.
iii. Adequate means of livelihood.

Application Fees :
Rs. 100/-. However, payment of fee is exempted for all female applicants, SC /ST applicants, PwBD and Transwomen applicants.
