Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 26 vacant positions of Apprentices in North Eastern Region (NER) in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria :
ITI – Electrician : ITI in Electrician (Full-Time course)
Diploma (Civil) : Full Time (3 years course) – Diploma in Civil Engineering
Diploma (Electrical) : Full Time (3 years course) – Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Graduate (Electrical) : Full Time (4 years course) – B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical
Engineering
Graduate (Civil) : Full Time (4 years course) – B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.) in Civil Engineering
Candidates who possess educational qualifications as mentioned above and passed (date of result of final examination) within two years from the closing date of application and are medically fit as per the provisions of the Apprentice Act, 1961 are eligible to apply for apprenticeship in POWERGRID.
Stipend :
ITI – Electrician : Rs. 13500/- per month
Diploma (Civil) : Rs. 15500/- per month
Diploma (Electrical) : Rs. 15000/- per month
Graduate (Electrical) : Rs. 17500/- per month
Graduate (Civil) : Rs. 17500/- per month

Interested candidates who fulfil the above-mentioned eligibility criteria may
submit their application as below.
Step 1 –
Candidates should first register themselves (as a candidate/student) on the website of NAPS for ITI (Electrician) at https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in or NATS for Degree/ Diploma in Engineering/ Civil at https://nats.education.gov.in/ and complete/update their profile by uploading all the required documents.
Step 2 –
After getting the NATS registration/enrolment number, candidates should apply on the POWERGRID website as per the following details: – Go to www.powergrid.in-> Careers-> Engagement of Apprentices ->Apply Online
