NEIGRIHMS Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Scientist-B (Non-Medical) in the project entitled “”Setting up of Nation-Wide Network of Laboratories for Managing Epidemics and National Calamities” under State Level Viral
Research & Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL) funded by DHR in 2026.

Essential Qualification :
1st class Master’s degree in relevant subject (Microbiology) from a recognized university
Or
2nd class M. Sc. + Ph.D degree in relevant subject (Microbiology) from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification :
- Doctorate Degree in relevant subject (Microbiology) from a recognized university.
- Additional Post doctoral research from a recognized institute(s)/ university.
- Two years’ experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification.
- Ph.D degree is considerable as 3 years’ experience.
- Preference to candidates having experience in Virology and Molecular Biology.
- Preference to candidates having publication in peer reviewed indexed journal.
Remuneration : Rs. 56,000/- + HRA per month
Age Limit : 40 years (Relaxation as per rules)
