Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath has urged upon the faculty members of ICFAI University to exhaust all acquired knowledge with the students to make them at par with the national standard.
He made this appeal while addressing the staff, students and faculty members of the University at the freshers’ welcome programme.
Nath also applauded the teaching-learning standard of ICFAI University Tripura and its congenial atmosphere.
He also urged upon the students to be sufficiently attentive in the classrooms, discipline and good human beings.
In an interactive session with the students, the Minister remarked that besides studying the students would also regularly take part in entertainment but within the frame of legitimacy.
Discipline is topmost priority for an educational institute, the minister pointed out and advised ICFAI authority to ensure discipline in the Campus all the time.
Besides the Education Minister, the programme was graced among others by the Chairman of Tripura Medical College MLA Dr Atul Debbarma and Area Manager of TATA Trust Livelihood Mission Sashank Das.
Earlier, in the beginning, Pro-Vice Chancellor of ICFAI University, Tripura Prof Biplab Halder delivered welcome address and reiterated that University would continue to strive for maintaining discipline and offering high qualitative educational programmes.
