Qualification & Experience :
i. MBBS Degree and having Registration under Assam Medical Council. Candidate with Post Graduate Qualifications will be given preference with degree holders getting priority over diploma holders.
ii. Minimum of 20 (twenty) years of service in the State Health Service.
iii. 5 (five) years of administrative experience in the rank of SDM&HO and above.
Age: Minimum age 59 years and maximum age 63 years as on 1st January of 2026.
Scale of Pay:
As per The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017 (Rs 30,000/- 1,10,000/- Pay Band-4 + Grade Pay Rs. 17,500/- + other allowances as admissible)
