Mizoram University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Guest Faculty in Department of Mathematics & Computer Science in 2026. The Department of Mathematics & Computer Science, Mizoram University offers a two years Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program with Specialization in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning under Self-financing Mode.

Eligibility Criteria :
For UGC Guest Faculty:
1. A Master Degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science or equivalent or Mathematics with Computer Programming and Applications with at least 55% (or equivalent grade), 5% relaxation in marks in case SC/ST candidates, and the candidates should have a
NET/SLET/SET or hold a valid Ph.D as recognised by UGC.
2. Experience (if any).
For MZU Guest Faculty:
1. A Master Degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science or equivalent or Mathematics with Computer Programming and Applications with at least 55% (or equivalent grade), 5% relaxation in marks in case SC/ST candidates.
2. Experience if any.
Honorarium :
For UGC Guest Faculty: Rs. 1500/- per lecture up to maximum of Rs. 50,000/ per month.
For MZU Guest Faculty: Rs. 1300/- per lecture up to maximum of Rs. 36, 000/ per month.
Selection Procedure :
A dual mode interview will happen on 23rd of July, 2026 at 11:30 AM in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science, Mizoram University, TANHRIL: 796004, Aizawl, Mizoram. The eligible candidates are informed to reach the Department at 11:00 AM for verification of their original educational and experience certificates if any and thereafter to attend the interview.
The interview shall be in online mode for the candidates who cannot be present due to valid reasons.
