Biswakarma was honoured for his contribution to AYUSH medicine, healthcare awareness and holistic wellness at the conclave

Digboi: Uttam Kumar Biswakarma, an AYUSH practitioner from Assam’s Tinsukia district currently residing in Arunachal Pradesh, has been conferred with the Ayush Excellence Award at the International Ayush Conclave 4.0 โ€“ Nepal Edition held in Kathmandu.

Biswakarma was honoured for his contribution to AYUSH medicine, healthcare awareness and holistic wellness at the conclave, which brought together experts, researchers and practitioners from several countries.

Organised jointly by the Council for Integrative Vaidhya Innovation and Collaboration (CIVIC), India, and the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, the event drew participation from 254 AYUSH experts, physicians, researchers, academicians and entrepreneurs from more than 25 Indian states, besides delegates from Nepal, Malaysia, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh and Singapore.

Biswakarma also received a Delegate Appreciation Certificate for participating in the “Most AYUSH Doctors Giving Clinical Diagnosis Session”, a world-record initiative held during the conclave.

The event was conducted under the guidance of M.M. Qureshi, founder of CIVIC, with support from the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and international partners, including Legends World Records, Dubai. Representatives of the Indian Embassy in Nepal and delegates from healthcare institutions also attended the conclave.

Biswakarma said the recognition would encourage him to continue working in the fields of AYUSH medicine, health education and community outreach.
