Dibrugarh University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) to work in the OIL CoEES, Guwahati sponsored research project entitled, ” Integrated Reservoir Screening and ASTM-Based Experimental Evaluation of CO2-Oil-Rock Interactions for CCUS-EOR in Mature Oil Fields of the Upper Assam Basin”, under the Department of Petroleum Technology in 2026.

Qualification :
Master’s degree (M.Tech.) or equivalent degree in Petroleum Technology/ Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geology or Applied Geology. Students currently in the final semester of their M.Tech. program are also eligible to appear for the interview.
Job Description :
The project involves reservoir rock and fluid characterisation, modelling geochemical reactions, oil recovery measurements, data analysis, and curation.
Fellowship : Rs. 42,000/- per month.
