Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at UR Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria :
M.E. / M.Tech / M.Sc (Engg.) or equivalent post graduate degree in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale. The candidates whose selection happens through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR – UGC – NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or get selection through National level examinations of Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc. are only eligible to apply
Fellowship :
Rs. 37000 – 42000/- per month
Age Limit :
Maximum Age of 28 years as on 11.07.2026 i.e. the closing date of receipt of online applications. Relaxation of 5 years in case of SC / ST and 3 years in case of OBC candidates. Age relaxations as per Government of India orders are applicable to Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Widows, Divorced Women and Women with judicial seperation from their husbands and not married.
