Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of one (01) Project Assistant (Molecular and Synthetic Biology theme) in the ANRF sponsored research project entitled ‘JNU-PAIR network on Science for Sustainable Future’ under the Principal Investigator Prof Pritam Deb, Department of Physics in 2026.

Essential Qualification:
3 years Diploma/ BSc in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) or Information Technology
Preference I:
B.Tech/M.Tech degrees in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Information Security/Cyber Security, Data Science, or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) are eligible to apply. Applicants should have specialization in or demonstrated experience in Bioinformatics, Computer Networking, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), or Big Data Analytics
Preference II:
Preference to candidates having hands-on experience in programming, computer networking, cloud computing, cyber security, data analysis, computational biology tools, AI/ML frameworks, or large-scale data handling relevant to the project
Monthly Emoluments :
Rs. 27,000.00 (Rupees twenty seven thousand) only per month + HRA as admissible
Age limit:
Candidate shall not be more than 50 years of age on the date of interview.
Selection Procedure :
Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview on 01.07.2026. Venue is in the Conference Room, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering, Tezpur University. Time of interview is at 10.30 a.m.
