Scale of Pay: The JUNIOR TELECOM OFFICER (TELECOM) [JTO(T)-DR] shall be recruited in the IDA pay scale [E-1] of 16400– Rs. 40500/- (2nd PRC pay scale w.e.f. 01.01.2007).
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent from a Central Govt./State Govt. recognized Institution/University in any of the following disciplines:
- Telecommunications
- Electronics
- Radio
- Computer
- Electrical
- Information Technology (IT)
- Instrumentation
OR
M.Sc. (Electronics) / M.Sc. (Computer Science)
Age: Candidate should be minimum 20 years and not exceed 30 years as on closing date of receipt of application. However, the upper age limit is relaxable as per the standing instructions of Government of India
Selection Procedure :
The candidates shall have to undergo “Computer based-Multiple Choice?Objective Type Test” comprising following three sectional papers, Engineering Stream Section – I, Engineering Stream Section – II and General Ability Test Section – III. All candidates appearing in the “Computer based-Multiple Choice-Objective Type Test” shall get a score based on their performance in the “Computer based-Multiple Choice-Objective Type Test”
