Guwahati: Mining and natural resources major Vedanta Limited has launched Vividh Verse, a bilingual limited-edition magazine that seeks to bring together stories, conversations and perspectives from across Indiaโs cultural, entrepreneurial and public life landscape.
The publication, available in both print and digital formats, was introduced with a foreword by Anil Agarwal, who emphasised that nation-building extends beyond infrastructure and economic growth.
โNation-building cannot be limited to building huge infrastructure or creating billion-dollar businesses. It is essentially about creating opportunities, nurturing industries, empowering women, and ensuring that children receive the right nutrition and education,โ Agarwal wrote in the foreword.
He added that Vividh Verse was born out of the belief that โstories have the power to change mindsets and shape the future.โ
According to the company, the inaugural issue features contributions from a range of public figures, policymakers, artists and entrepreneurs. Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal has written on the role of the Constitution in enabling social mobility, while Sonal Mansingh reflects on Indiaโs civilisational ethos and cultural continuity.
Actor Pankaj Tripathi discusses authenticity in a changing cultural landscape, while Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker shares insights on discipline and resilience in sports.
The magazine also explores themes such as entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, music, wellness traditions, grassroots innovation and digital culture. Rahul Garg writes on industrial transformation and manufacturing in India, while artists including Flipperachi, Lokesh Anand and DJ Outlaw contribute perspectives on evolving cultural expression and contemporary music.
Vedanta said each edition of Vividh Verse will include a specially commissioned artwork, positioning the publication as a collectible magazine at the intersection of culture, ideas and contemporary India. Future editions are expected to feature voices and narratives from different sectors and regions across the country.
